An oval cut diamond carries the same brilliant faceting as a round diamond, stretched into an elongated shape that can look larger per carat and adds an elongating effect on the finger. Every oval stone is available in GIA premium certified natural diamonds, and GIA premium certified lab-grown diamonds or IGI certified lab-grown diamonds.

Shape, not cut. An oval diamond has the same brilliant faceting as a round diamond, stretched into an elongated silhouette. This makes it appear larger than a round brilliant cut diamond of the same carat weight, and gives an elongating effect on the finger.
Most oval diamonds show some bow-tie, a shadow that crosses the centre of the stone. A well-cut oval keeps this subtle. We select stones for even light return across the diamond, so the bow-tie stays minimal rather than dominating the face-up view.
