Cushion Cut Engagement Rings, Explained
A cushion cut diamond combines the rounded corners of an old mine cut with the larger facets of a modern brilliant, giving it a soft, pillow-like outline and a warm, vintage sparkle. Square cushions sit closer to a classic pillow shape, while an elongated cushion stretches the same faceting into a rectangular silhouette with a subtle lengthening effect on the finger.
